• Question: Do any of you know why lunar movements effect tsunami behavior :) ?

      I don’ t know. People did wonder if the moon’s position near the earth affected the tsunami. Some people suggested it could cause eruptions. I’m not sure. No doubt that the moon affects the tides though.

      I think that’s a question related to gravity. The moon affects the gravity of the tides of oceans, so these can be bigger or smaller depending on how close or far the moon is with respect to the Sun. In terms of tsunami, I’m not sure but it should be something similar
