      I guess it depends on the sort of ‘drugs’ you mean.

      Antibiotics are certainly helping the average lifespan to increase. Vaccines also prevent a lot of diseases that used to be regular killers.

      The best way to increase your life span though is to limit your calorie intake and probably best to avoid drugs (nicotine, alcohol and others!)
