      It’s hard to describe in words! Probably if you google you’ll find a good picture. They have a little head bit that carries the DNA in the nucleus and the they have a really long tail that beats so that they can swim. They are super well designed for their job!

      They look a little bit like a tadpole. There are three main parts to a sperm cell, the head, the mid piece and the tail. The head contains all the genetic information in the nucleus. The mid piece contains lots of mitochondria which provide energy to help the sperm move and the tail moves from side to side to help propel the cell forwards.
