There are! To reproduce, cancer cells have to complete mitosis. We now have quite a few drugs that can stop cells going through mitosis. These drugs stop cells halfway through mitosis and then kill them. These drugs work very well at killing cells in a petri dish but now they have to be developed so that they work well in human patients.
