      I think they are beautiful! If you look at some of the pictures on my profile you can see how pretty they are. I use microscopes a lot in my work to look inside cells. I use different stains that are fluorescent to look at objects inside the cell and it’s amazing how organised and intricate cells are inside. The cool thing is that then I can take away or add genes back and see how it affects what the cell looks like. It’s very neat.

      I think cells are amazing little things. Without cells we wouldn’t be here! I love learning about how cells talk to each and behave to get their job done!

      Cells rock. At school you’ll be looking at them but they won’t seem to do very much. That’s a shame because they do loads of great stuff. Get on YouTube and look up ‘neutrophil chasing bacteria’ and you’ll see some awesome videos of cells chasing bugs. That’s got to be better than looking at onion cells I reckon!
