The biggest problem in the field of joint disease is there is currently no cure for it! My work along with other research happening in other universities aims to improve this situation.

The biggest problem in my field is trying to stop cancer cells from reproducing. If we can do that and kill all cancer cells in a tumour then we will have a cure for cancer!

How can we stop inflammation? If we can control inflammation, we can treat some pretty important diseases that are caused by inflammation (cancer, heart disease, arthritis, autoimmunity, some infertility, …….)

I want to understand how a treatment for a disease called Multiple Sclerosis works. If we can understand a lot about how it works, we might be able to come up with more direct ways of treating the disease, or come up with ways of treating people who don’t get better with the normal treatment.
