This is a very good question! “Regular” science covers subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths (as well as subjects within those like Engineering). Social Sciences are about society and relationships within a society – so are things like politics, economics, sociology, law etc.

Social Sciences study the relationships between people and their behaviour as a society, whereas ‘regular’ Science is a very broad term and it includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics… Looking more at Nature itself, how organisms work and how they interact with the environment

Interesting question! The term ‘social’ is the key here! Social sciences look at the relationship between people and their society. This includes subjects like Economics, Psychology, Law and even History! Regular science of course includes Biology, Chemistry and Physics but can also refer to Maths and Engineering like Alexis says.

The others have given the answer to this. But for me? the difference is that I think regular science is so much more exciting and fun.
