• Question: what is the purpose of the death of cells

      Control! It lets us get rid of cells we don’t want or need. So if they are infected or old or useless or mutated….. we can tell them to die. It’s really important when we are developing too. It helps us to look the way we do. If cells didn’t die we’d have webbed hands and feet!
