• Question: What is the worst bit about your research?

      Sometimes, because you are looking at things other people haven’t thought about before, experiments don’t work first time and that can be a little frustrating! However, once you have worked out what the problem is – it is worth the hard work!

      My cells don’t wait for weekends or bank holidays, so I’m at the lab almost every day taking care of them, even if it’s just for 30 min. I wish I could have days off more often!

      I’d agree with the others – when experiments don’t work and having to look after cells 7 days a week!
