Weird but I ended up working on all the things I hated most when I was taught them. It turns out that they were really interesting but taught by really boring teachers.

I love infection and I love the immune system and cell death. They are all linked so it’s one big happy area of biology for me.

Looking at how cells reproduce. It’s such a beautiful process to study and there is still a lot we don’t understand about how it works. So it’s pretty and fascinating!

My favourite part of Biology is the immune system: how our bodies can fight viruses and bacteria so we don’t get very ill and die is just amazing! 🙂

My favourite part of biology is learning about how humans and other animals develop. How one cell goes on to create all the other cells in the body is fascinating!
