• Question: What is your favourite thing about science??

      Hmm….

      This is a tough question because there are lots of things I like about Science! One of my favourite things is talking to other Scientists and sharing ideas. To get the best results in any research you need to work in a team – many heads are better than one! I also love encouraging students like you to continue with Science and letting you know how exciting it can be!

      I’m really bad on favourites because I can never pick one thing. I’ll have to say a couple of things: 1. that I get to discover new things that noone has done before and that might help us to treat cancer better, 2. every day is different, 3. I really like working with my hands. Sorry I cheated and didn’t pick one favourite thing!

      Freedom! You can do pretty much what you want. Come up with an idea and try it out. Really, this is like having a hobby for a job. AND you get paid for it.
