So here’s an interesting question! Sometimes I get into work at 7. Sometimes it is later. The beauty of working at a university and doing research, is that you need to be flexible. I’ve worked all night before and slept in the coffee room. All because I had an experiment running and needed to do something every hour. You work when you need to and relax when you can!

Being a Scientist means you have to be flexible – particularly if you are looking after cells! Mostly I start between 8am and 9am but this can change depending on what I need to do!

Usually 8am – I like to get in early and start working before others come in to distract me. Plus I am much more productive in the morning than in the evening.

I try to start at 10am, but I’m not an early-morning type of person! Although sometimes I need to be at the lab sooner so I have time to run my experiments on the day.
